Home page images : The lookbook

The header- Their logo.
A video of the owner driving around NY wearing his overlook frames. Portraying a sought after lifestyle
Their newest pair of frames. A small video showing the frames in a 360 degrees view.

First shade of sunglasses. wanted the background to match the green lens. Added accent colors with contrast that are fresh and bright.

Included different image sizes and layouts for a playful look. Added boarders around some images to add depth.

Second shade of sunglasses. wanted the background to match the blue lens. played off of the name quite literally

Third shade of sunglasses. In this section the models in the image are wearing neutral colors, I did not want to add very bright backgrounds to avoid overpowering the image.

Added a clip of a scene from the image. Put a sparkle filter to distract from the videos resolution.

Linked the brands IG account so that customers can easily click onto their IG, and showing which hashtag they are associated with.

Having actual IG images show customers that real people are purchasing and proudly wearing the products.

Including an about the brand helps the customers better understand and connect with the brand.

The footer- Pinned to every page. Added a subscription box and link to socials, so customers can stay connected.

Preview New Item : A sneak Peek
Created a separate page showcasing what product will be released next. Creating incentive for customers to subscribe for new release dates.

Reach Out: Contact
For this page I wanted it to be much simpler than the rest of the site, so that customers can find the info they need without any distractions.

Having visible contact information builds credibility with customers.

A mapped location further solidifies that the company is legit, and provides a sense of reassurance for the customers.
Once my client saw the finished product, he decided to add the ability to shop on the site. Keeping the lookbook as the homepage, and adding a shop page.

Purchase: Shop
Using the same color scheme as in the contact page, to let the products be the center of attention.

Showing the original price slashed and the new sale price excites customers and encourages shopping.
Outcome
My first client, my first time using any website builder. I learned a lot from this project, such as how to communicate effectively with a client. How to merge what the client wants and what works for their brand or website.
